To parents and caregivers, Read a book, develop new brain cells. Where I live, you will see children everywhere with cell phones and tablets at libraries with their nannys or in shopping carts. As a former teacher, I own over 100 children's books & ask for them as gifts. This poem is so good and I have such respect for it. That sounds funny I guess, but it is an important poem. I think it would be perfect at a library checkout desk. Can you tell I love it ? :)

Every year our eldest daughter takes me to a book fair and shouts me a box of books. Our grandson is really into books as is all our family past and present. I was horrified when talking to an early childhood teacher who was not into reading. Thanks for your kind comments Bless you David in NZ
