Har-Har

I thought we'd be fine Since you stayed on that plane afterall Didn't think you'd go through it I expected you to turn back around without a try But now when you call me while we're miles apart And you cry on the line Like you miss me And you cry on the line Like things have changed Your brown eyes; they still roll back I can tell from your slurs The only man who's ever done what I have Is the only man I've brought to tears Is the only man I miss at night Is the only man I've ever left Is the only man I don't regret When you say you've felt the same I don't believe it from your so-called attempts "What you do to yourself isn't right Change is not a thing we know" When the sun goes down I wonder how someone like you Can mellow so easily into slumber How can I love such a mindless monster Keep saying, "Four years down the drain" It only digs you deeper, baby When you stick that needle in your vain tonight Remember that's why I'm gone Remember that's why you're there
