Happy Birthday Daughter

Happy Birthday Daughter I wish as I do every year, Your birthday will be full of cheer. Surrounded with the ones you love And presents you’ve been dreaming of. Remember how excited, you Were every year, October two, When you were small? I’d often bake A banana layer, birthday cake. I know your birthday gifts were small But you were happy for them all, And though sometimes you were a tease, You were an easy child to please. I’d like to travel back to when You were just five or six or ten. But since I know that cannot be I’ll go back in my memory. I’d like a time machine to dial To travel back for just awhile. With love, Mom Won # 4 in Carol's contest "Write For Yourself"

:-) a smile maker, Joyce. One day I'll be where you're at, and I think it will get here fast. The last two years have flown by and I can remember my monkey girl's 'birth' day, like it was yesterday. I already want a time machine, sometimes just to relive last week, like last week when she said as clear as a bell, "I am two." :-) I am going to be a mushy-gushy mom no matter what her age is. Love this. Cyndi
