This haiku was very poignant in both it's fragrance and color combo. Mimosa and hummingbirds... sounds delightful! I've only read one so far, but you seem to have the "essence of haiku" down!

Their scent is wonderful..Enjoyed reading your very creative and unique work..I was thinking the other day about writing one about a mimosa that I had come in contact with while on a long trek through the woods...Sara

So nice, KIm. I love this kind of tree. It's a tree, right? With beautiful blossoms? I was looking for one at the nursery last spring.

Wonderful imagery in so few words, not usually a big fan of the Haiku, unless I read one that gives me something, like an image or a thought, this one did, I enjoyed it, made me smile :)
