Gone

Who’s going to hold your hands? When you gets older who’s going to make it warm? When you feel colder who’s going to share your pain? when you feel hurt and who will say you look so nice When you wear a new skirt The simple things in life We all need to survive If we don’t reach for it Then how can it arrive We all need some one To have to lean on if You keep pushing me away One day I will be gone So many friends I know Have gotten divorce Once they got married The friendship gets lost Not asking for much Just want to be your friend And if it’s okay with you Until the worlds ends Who’s going to help you grow? Blueberries in the garden who’s going to share your joy When the crops are laden Who’s going laugh with you? And have ice cream that’s going to comfort you? If you awake from a bad dream who’s going to hold your hands? And go for long walks who,s going to look in your eyes? And love to hear you talk Please don’t push me way That would be so wrong If you miss me one day I will, be long gone We are not very young Were are getting older From now on in our life The weather will get colder I love you so much Please don’t push me away Take me in your arms It’s where I want to stay I got nowhere to go with you think I belong But if you don’t need me Then I will be gone
