Going West

At sunset hour On the train westbound An interplay of fields And golden sunrays Ribbons of pinks And precious ambers Horizon stretched aglow Before our eyes a lightshow Nature before its sleep A neverending sunset Over miles of tracks A continuous flaunting Generous in colors Artful in its reverence Till with a soft sigh Arriving at destination The reluctant train halts Night yet about to fall Finally the playful sun Blows its kiss goodnight Published in my 24-page photo book ~GOING WEST~ 2020 AP: Honorable Mention 2020 Posted on October 26, 2019

The reluctant train halts, my fav line. I think the train would keep going, in love with the sun forever. Your imagery was lovely. Ann
