God knows me better Than anyone else I know He knows about my thoughts The good, the bad, the worst ~ God know my feelings If I’m happy, lonely or afraid He knows the deepest part of me Where no other can possibly know ~ God knows the answers To all the problems that come From living amid these distractions Worldly places and people who hurt ~ God knows my dreams All my hopes and needs He knows what I believe And He is the answer for me ~ God knows my worries The dread that comes sometimes Little anxieties that haunt me And fears that will terrify ~ God knows my desires And fills me with yearnings For good things like heaven And a place to give of my heart ~ God knows me much better Than I could even know myself He fills my mind with prayers For giving back as He has given to me
