Combatting Pride
We strive to combat selfishness' pride
Championing kindness with humble stride
Prayerful along faith-brace
Always asking for Christ's grace*
Declaring, "We are on the Lord's side."
Exemplifying heart of servant
May we share with joy our blessings’ grant
Reaching-out, devoid of pout
Fighting doubt midst "Praise God" shout…
…Helping others to be triumphant!
*Galatians 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
