Glasses
Glasses left with an empty bottle of wine
evidence of an evening sublime
The coffee table displays
the remains of a romantic charade
Ruby lipstick stains left on one glass
the other glass rest upside down
An empty wine bottle of a vintage past
unsure lovers fears they drown
Sunlight spirals through an open curtain
sparkles emit from crystal glasses
A dizzy sigh and heavy eyes awaken to uncertain
in lipstick glass a folded note, marvellous drinking glasses
