As time goes by Does her memory fade Not the least little bit Not one degree of shade The sound of her voice Rings in my ear The ghost from my past Will never leave I fear I can smell her scent Sometimes in the wind Just when I start to forget It happens once again I go through my day She is everywhere As I work at my desk She will touch my hair Day after day My life is just a wreck Right when I think it's over I feel her breath on my neck Will she ever stop Haunting me this way The ghost from my past Keeps me trapped in yesterday

I have a ghost, too but it is a male. I just make him part of my alive today. It's hopeless, John..he was and always will be the lighthouse in my life, Panagiota

Though no one can bring back the hour of splendor in the grass, of glory in the flower, grieve not, but find strength in what remains behind. - WW
