Gem So Rare

too good to be spoiled by petty things that get under our skin, too forgiving to be so marred by fear to ask for forgiveness, this chance for us to be together is, in my drab life, a gem so rare; too assuring to be threatened by our being hard on ourselves, too kind to be so demanding by being pushy to each other, this very moment we call ours is a treasure of tenderest hours.
