Forgotten
Have you ever felt forgotten,
Felt that someone didn't care.
Have you ever arranged a meeting,
and they didn't show up there.
To them it may be no big deal,
For they don't know how you feel.
Each time it happens it hurts a bit,
In a way it's just like being hit.
No matter how many times it occurs,
You never forget this pain of yours.
It builds and fills your memory and heart,
At times you can feel it tearing you apart.
There are times when I can firmly declare,
That folk cannot see that I am there.
Have you ever felt that you are invisible,
When you speak they hear not one syllable.
I get heartily sick when this I can see,
I walk away just to see if anyone misses me.
Most times they don't and it's as plain as chalk,
That most folk just love to hear themselves talk.
So we live out our life at home in such a manner,
That makes it right to call home "NoMates Manor".
