For My Love

There is still snow on the ground, and birds in trees make their sound; I lay blooms with a sad sigh- with grief and tears I am drowned. __________________________ March 9, 2020 Poetry/Jueju/For My Love Copyright Protected, ID 20-1234-209-03 All Rights Reserved, 2020, Constance La France Written for the contest, Let The Pens Flow sponsor, Jenish Somadas Second Place

That is how you know your love was true to the core, my Dear Heart. My friend just lost her daughter last week to cancer. Expected, but still tragic. She is a poetess too, and knows the power of words to help grieve and heal.

John, thanks for visiting and for the compassionate comment, I can write of my sorrow a thousand times, a million times but the grief never, ever departs, someone asked me "How long will you grieve him?" And the answer is till I draw my last breath _Constance
