For It Is Still Summer

Inhale a dawdle in hot days like these The warmth of Summertime can still bring ease Don’t hasten full speed to Autumn’s brisk nights Feel the vehemence in the ardor breeze. Azure oceans shall still embrace you, my sweet In the eager pebbled shore dip your feet The water is still fervid, so enjoy the marvel of impetuous heat. No pressure to move ahead to Autumn Too soon after that Winter shall succumb There’s still time for the sun to bestow cheer And lend an ear to the Hummingbird’s hum. Nurture your garden with relaxation May the flourishing bring hope’s sensation Keep your lilies blossomed for sweet nectar Encompass yourself in God’s creation. Don’t introduce your rake to nature yet For it is still Summer, so don’t you fret The leaves are not crimson or medallion sense grace in the warm tangerine sunset. Good poem to bring me down to earth. We can't expect autumn here until maybe mid-November, and it is too soon gone.
