Foolish Me
O foolish me
I was a blind man
who could not see
I questioned God,
and that is utter absurdity
I wondered why do the wicked prosper,
and the soul of the righteous poor is brought low
Where was the judgment and justice of God,
these were the things I desperately wanted to know
So I questioned God,
which is absolutely insane
O foolish me
I was as a dumb beast
who could not speak
Until I went into the tabernacle of God
to seek wisdom from up on high
Only then was I given spiritual eyes,
and saw the fate that will befall you and I
The wicked will be judged,
of that there is now no doubt
The righteous will be rewarded,
the blessings of God will be given out
I was in awe of the voice that whispered to me,
"Be patient my loyal servant, all things have an end"
I was told with assurances and promises
that in due time, the kingdom of God will be ushered in
