Fool Me Once

Fool me once; fool me twice. That's ok just as long as it's in a cute way. Fool me once; fool me twice, but just please don't be mean. You can be a sweet tease. You can tap on my shoulder, then hide really fast. You can even exaggerate tales of your past. But you better 'fess up eventually because if you're making up stories to me, the trust will be gone, and then one sad day the fool will be you when good riddance I say! This is a great write for the contest, Andrea, I wish you luck. I think I will skip this one, I just can't come up with anything. John

good write of a female perspective ...what at first seemed a poem to a child ...then, nope (this is not a criticism in any way/shape/form)

you are right in a way . It started out for a child and then evolved (and men are just kids at heart)
