Fool Me Once
Fool me once; fool me twice. That's ok
just as long as it's in a cute way.
Fool me once; fool me twice, but just please
don't be mean. You can be a sweet tease.
You can tap on my shoulder, then hide really fast.
You can even exaggerate tales of your past.
But you better 'fess up eventually
because if you're making up stories to me,
the trust will be gone, and then one sad day
the fool will be you when good riddance I say!
