Fluttering
Breeze blew
My hair about
Loving the feel of it
On nice sunny & wintery day
I chanced upon a butterfly
Fluttering about
Enjoying it, too
From flower to flower
It roamed
Liking a few scents
disliking the others
What was drawing it
The scent or the colour
It drove me thinking
Why we were not
Designed with wings
I miss having them
Wish I too could
Fly by the nets
Holding me back
The stresses and cares
Now that he's busy
In his world
And drifted away
I'm forced to wish
I too could be as carefree
As the butterfly
Fluttering about.
