Winter feathers the ground with snow,
blanketing everything in white.
An impressionist, like Van Gogh,
Winter feathers the ground with snow.
And sunbeams set it all aglow,
icicles sparkling in the light.
Winter feathers the ground with snow,
blanketing everything in white.
Icicles sparkling in the light
summon flames to crystals of ice;
fueled by the fire's frigid bite.
Icicles sparkling in the light
encourage snowflakes to ignite.
Lighting up Winter's paradise,
icicles sparkling in the light
summon flames to crystals of ice.
Lighting up Winter's Paradise;
a defeated sun bleeds blood-red
paying sunset's ultimate price.
Lighting up Winter's Paradise,
nothing else could ever suffice;
a shroud fit for Autumn's deathbed.
Lighting up Winter's Paradise;
a defeated sun bleeds blood-red.
