First Piece
I am the blues man singing the blues
Out of blue black memory
Life tells the story, and I am confuse
That you dance my melody
While I am crying the blues
I am the blues man, nothing more to lose
Except the lonely song I sing
Lost my bank account, my ring
I am the beginning of what was right
Got thrown away when the poet saw light
But I got to be, got to be my own song
Love wrote me blue when she did me wrong
A picture is all you see when I cry
A river is all you will see when I die
I am a blues man, broken where I am strong
Hey, don't pity me, pity only my blue, blue song
