Fall, winter spring are the best part Of the year so with fall I'll start Fall's colors brighten each warm day And cool nights delight and offer play Fall slowly changes to winter With howling winds and rain that linger Drives me in snuggling next to hearth To write and laugh with hardy mirth The nude limbs start to bud as each heart Feels revived as spring's sun gentle rays Brings outdoors the spirited thinker To enjoy once again God's rebirth

Beautiful images of the season. From your poem I assume that you are not in favor of summer. As winter comes 'snuggling next to hearth' gives a comfy feeling !

Valsa, I don't like the hottest, humid part of summer. I like those years that it is cooler than normal, but we can't all have our likes or wishes. Thanks for your positive review of my work. Sara

Your poem, Sara, is truly inspiring. Summer isn't one of my favorites, and winter presents many challenges for me personally. I rather like springtime to winter. Fall is supposed to be stunning.

Lasaad, Yes, fall can have wonderful color some years it depends on the right ingredients cool nights, warm days, enough rain fall, and the leaves turn their beautiful colors and don't turn brown and fall off right away. I have to accept all the seasons for sure because I don't have a choice but I tend to like spring and fall best. Thanks for your visit. Sara

Great inspiration, Sara. I don't like summer and winter is hard on me. Give me spring any time. The Fall should be beautiful but Malta has no color fallen leaves.

Victor, Sorry to learn that your fall is not colorful. It is a beautiful season here where I live but spring also has so many shades of green here and then the flowering trees make a contrast to the greens. I will have to look up the island of Malta. Thanks for the visit. Sara

Bella, Both spring and fall have their beauty in the color show. I do like the skeletal outlines of winter and how we can see into the forest or woods more clearly. The heat of summer isn't good for me anymore. Thanks for the visit to my page. Sara
