Family Time

Family time Go back forty years ago The fire had a hearty glow Everyone spent their time in the living room to bind Talking face to face asking how do you feel this living room was for real the warmest room in the house no one looked at bedrooms this way they are only places to lay now look at what we have got every room is heated up with entertainment to be hold no need to sit around every room a living room if you have a problem look it up I write this by the fire with a burning desire to have a night like before the heating behind every living room door

We used to have a fireplace, and I loved to have a fire on cold winter nights, or even during the day, I'd sit and read out loud to my kids when they were younger, it was such a nice cozy time. Now, we watch movies and everyone is on their own phone or notebook at the same time. ~ sigh ~ Love your poem Niall, and thanks for visiting my page, happy to meet you.
