Anacreontic

An Ancient Greek lyrical form consisting of 20- to 30-lines with three to five syllables per line.

I'm falling in love, I can't sleep! And when I do I dream of you. I can smell your hair on my pillow. And that subtle scent drives me mad! I close my eyes and there you are, kissing me in my dreams. My pulse pounds wildly and my heart throbs! All I think about day in and day out is how beautiful your eyes are! There's no explaining how I feel; other than love is the spark that's igniting passion's flame.

I love the form! Longer forms tend to intimidate me. I love "There's no explaining how I feel other than love" ;) I would put an "s" on pound. Enjoyed the read! Good luck with the new book Emile. xomo!
