Fake Price
Intro Verse: When you were given value
By one who cared
Your heart was lifted
From Despair
You mattered now
You have value
But, it was all lies
So what shall you do?
Chorus 1: You decided to visit them one day
You knocked on their door
You heard footsteps but no answer
You didn't matter anymore
You cried and told them
You knocked and got no reply
"Not worth a cent anymore" They said
You've been tagged with a Fake Price
Verse: You remembered the times
Where you felt priceless
For the hope and happiness
And their "trusted guidance"
Feelings lost and gone
Not even worth a cent now
Now you sit in despair
And wear misery's crown
Chorus 2: You asked them in tears
If they even cared
They said "You're nothing now. As worthless as rat's hair"
You've cried and told them
You wanted to die
Not worth anything to them anymore,
You were labeled with a Fake Price
That price tag on you
read "not even a cent"
You wanted to be something
You wish to be more than a cent. To. One!
You nearly lost all hoooope!
The Damage Was Done!
Bridge: You. Bled. For. Mooooonths!
You thought you were special, you now feel like juuuuuunk!
Verse: Now a new face appeared
to lift you up gently and do no harm
Your value was back!
Free from Hades arms!
Final Chorus: You came one day
And chatted with the new face
Your hope and willpower revived
Your old price tag was replaced!
You stood back up
And decided to give it a try
If one bares the pain,
They will surely be revived!
If one values you low,
They don't know how great you are
Don't accept their Fake Price
Because you know you are brighter than the stars! :D
