Every Now and Then
Every now and then,
I imagine moving out of this glen,
wanting a different change of pace,
someplace where theres less of a rat race,
Just having a simple life,
where theres less problems and strife,
I know farm life wouldn't be all that easy,
needing some farm machinery,
But eating the food that I chew,
right out of my soil where it grew,
a cornucopia of vegetables and fruit,
my own hands having pulled up the root,
Being out in natures fresh air,
not having to worry about supermarket sales,
being a bit more self sufficient,
to me farm life would be more than beneficent.
