Pale blue evening skies Surround me where this beauty lies Through layers of shimmering green Between trees, the light is seen Birds sing their songs all around Calling a happy chirping sound There’s a time for doing and a time for rest A time to think about all the best This moment brings to see and hear Not everything is far, so much is near Heidi Sands 7/24/20
