Essence of Autumn
Chartreuse blades morph into crimson splendor,
light, smooth tangerine sun sets simplified-
Willows weep for the last time, so tender,
Autumn arrives; comfort is amplified.
That brilliant harvested moon I adore
brings obscurity, grey fog in the clouds.
The warmest pebbles cool along the shore,
mother nature’s praised love for life enshrouds.
Summer whispered farewell with most her might,
although seasons change so does the weather.
No heat can prevail against Autumn’s fight;
sweet vows sworn in October together.
ESSENCE OF AUTUMN I sense in the breeze-
unfortunately, soon will come the freeze.
