Emptiness
The castle I built with sands of youth on shore of desire,
on rhapsody of moonbeam you entered, made it a home.
Ardor of our entwined hearts weaved tapestry of dreams,
we fondly draped the doorway screen, our minds’ canvas.
Across the sunset valley you departed on vanishing vine trail,
I waited counting time at the open door, my castle crumbled.
A verdant creeper you returned from my barren garden lost,
embraced my emptiness on decayed chair in love’s abode ruined.
