Embracing the Day

today my mind drifts on the rift of thoughts i stand beneath this empty sky as clouds like doubt shroud the stars where wishes were made in darkness i watch as silvery streaks break free in the folds of a blushing horizon i smile back knowing my wishes are adrift in october's air tonight i'll see you again inside of dreams where you touch back like this breeze embracing me

Now that's more like it, I love the positive ending to this my friend. We do always have our dreams, no matter what the day is filled with, the night can often be a comfort once we close our eyes and fall deeply into those dreams. Beautiful Sandy.
