Earth's Porch, Within Its Spinning Storms,
Sonnet number IV of XII
Sad days of great calamities
within spinning storms, of lost hope
Man cries out, his infirmities
begs to be hung by a new rope.
World gifts many its meager meal
its stale loaves on shattered plates
Kids joining gangs, with new friends steal
only starving can one relate.
Alas! Greater dark eats its share
spreading hatred in its parades
Innocence bellows, its not fair
the ease of these savage charades.
Earth's porch, looking into abyss
Humanity begs more of this.
