Dreamy
Promises come out on a daily basis from him
While others made lies ~ all of them
Tears they stained on my maiden cheeks
Dying of malnutrition for so many weeks
Marine kisses brighten up my heart
Learning his language from end to the start
Backwards dreams dampen my flannel sheets
Not too many lovable reserved seats
Learning that his strength wraps my soul
As he heals my heart from this unfair toll
Blinding white dress falls past my feet
Best day of my life I begin to weep
Platinum band around my finger from him
Watching at the alter ~ all of them
Blushed-up cheeks and ocean-blue eyes
Found my winner after so many tries
Open and honest is how we began
Getting married on a brand-new land
Been together 1 year now with not too many fights
Me and him correcting each others wrongs and rights
Looks at me and says those sacred words
Everything so quiet but the beach and the birds
