Don'Tanswerthewind
Lying on a deep green rug at midnight
the wind is howling your name outside
but you don't have to answer
your obsession wraps the blanket of love
tighter around your shoulders
and whispers,
never mind,look at me.
still silence breathes sweet thoughts
of yesterday
in the park beneath the weeping willow
cascading dreams hold you now
silver sliding
rainbow riding
where were you when the sky was so red?
ah yes ,weeping your own tears
the clock strikes done
and still we're not.
Bursting singing at the seams
I am pregnant with your dreams.
