Can’t get no sleep,
too scared to close your eyes
Afraid that he might leave ...
but why you won’t,
I don’t understand why
You catch so much abuse,
physical and verbal
Throwing your feelings to the ground,
he loves making you cry so hard ...
Have downcast rainy eyes every night
Look up ... look for me,
I can give you loving things
that you can’t yet see ... hidden beauty
But only after you said you had enough,
can you go searching and discover my love
My love is buried deep
inside the heart of me
How far are you willing to dig,
to get the gold buried?
Look up ... look for me,
I can tell you’re in loving need
Break away from the pain,
baby, I know it ain’t easy
But you gotta go search for a real love,
something you’re in desperate need of
My love is buried so far down,
in the deepest part of me,
How long are you willing to dig,
to get the treasury buried?
My love is better than
diamonds and pearls
Silver or gold ...
can’t compare to the love
I offer you, body and soul
Discover my love, baby please ...
let your life take a different journey
Discover my love ... do it quickly
Before someone else does,
someone in more loving need of me
