Destiny's Pain - Collaboration With Brenda Chiri
Drifting away in sadness, clouded in regret
A smile slowly fades;
Like a long forgotten sunset
in twilight's masquerade
Where none seems familiar
As my regret does overtake
Wish memories wouldn't incur
Yet they keep me wide awake
Memories in the night when the stars do gleam
May bring the joy of which your heart does dream
Will sunrise dispel all those haunting fears
Or will the morning dew be the sum of all your tears
For me memories and destiny are one and the same
I stopped dreaming long ago, no not a shame
Taught me pain doesn't disappear in daylight
Pain, 24/7, never ending struggle, never ending fight
Destiny shouldn't be measured in sadness and in tears
Happiness is a dream everyone can share
