Deep Sorrow
A heavy heart places a stone on the gloomy eyes
Unshed tears collect in the core of deep sorrow.
A distress blow breaks the mind, it silently cries
Pained words form, remain unsaid in deep sorrow.
A surge of grief drowns the heart, it slowly sinks
The anchor disappears in the gloom of deep sorrow.
On the incised agony tears flow in a sullen stream
Go under the sands of dismal desert of deep sorrow.
Touch of compassion and words of calm sympathy
Uncover the mind, lifts the shroud of deep sorrow.
The flood comes in a torrent, breaks the silence
Eyes can’t hold the mind melted in deep sorrow.
