Day On the Fourth of May
D-ay on the fourth of May
A-ims to meet the morn;
D-awn has just broken,
A-t the time you were born.
M-ay fourth early Thursday
E-liminates the twilight;
N-ight shadows vanish,
E-vading the beacon's light.
S-un has begun to rise,
E-rasing the blue and gray;
S-ay hello and welcome to the day on the fourth of May.
