Dating, Whose Dating
She came downstairs in the shortest dress her daddy had ever seen.
She was 14, tanned, and had the tallest legs in the family, by a long shot,
And now they were uncovered and she looked even taller.
“I hope you have shorts on under that short skirt,” Her daddy admonished.
The girl grinned, glad to get this kind of attention, then she laughed.
Mommy laughed too, and reminded Daddy that he used to urge her to
Wear shorter skirts when they were dating.
“Dating? Who is dating?” Daddy asked, jumping out of the chair in fright.
Mommy had definitely made things worse.
