D A R K S O N G like a black eye patch upon the sun the solar eclipse peculiar shadow play darksong upon the earth it was dim for some there was a chill mimic of a fall day homeward bound from work the subsequent day it was darker than yesterday eclipse of coincidence? 8/22/2017

Oh, I saw those strange shadows. Little crescents of light filtering through the leaves of trees during the eclipse. What a great poem to celebrate this sign in the heavens.
