Wh're has't thee gone consum'd by drops of sorrow and mournful dirge silent poetry flows with lament'd windeth thy gaunt behold wanes each night. dark roots embrace thee, deep-seat'd s'rrow unsettling and numbing. erstwhile bitt'r struggles, hesitating in darkness; thy soft bareth lips grave laden. darkness awakes the unhurri'd moon, cooling the unburnish'd fractur'd heart; nev'r an earthly s'raph to console thy lament dissipating soul's ceaseless ache 1/7/2021
