Dark Passenger
Infant memories
bathed in maternal blood
Adopted with a horrid secret buried,
pain walled-in
Until the nether chambers of the mind
begin to snuff image flood
Only murderous relief
can stem the tide
Splashing in a tub of serial killing reverie,
the dark passenger can emerge ...
no longer has to hide
On a boat of vigilante execution it rides
O, tortured soul,
the dark passenger resides within
Blood screams of a Carrie-er bird,
a psychic catharsis predator screech heard
Downward flight
of the dark passenger’s silent, surgical blade
speaks not a forgiving word
Now bathed in bad seed blood,
the dark passenger once more submerge
