Dancing In the Sky

I love dance music and love dancing, getting lost in the whirling and prancing; this world fading away, and in that moment I stay. Nothing beyond my dance is in my mind, I leave all the pain and sadness behind; and in that moment anger and H U R T entwine, I become a warrior strong. Getting lost in the drum song, dancing where I belong; with the warriors in the sky and I am an eagle flying up high. the ancient spirits are whispering- fly, fly, fly . . . until in a moment- I am this Ojibwe girl enchanting. ____________________ June 5, 2018 Poetry/Rhyme/Dancing in the Sky Copyright Protected, ID 18- 1028-758-01 All Rights Reserved. Wow, this is a piece of art. Love it. I have read some of the Indian Chiefs words about nature and their love for the land and animals. I was amazed at how poetic their words were on display in this museaum. Congratulations.

Constance, I appreciate the way you honor and show respect to Native people in many of your poems. This video was a perfect complement to your well chosen words.

I just love this! I can just see the swirling of gauzy skirts and hear the clacking of some ethic castanet.
