Cry of Your Facade

Realizing where you are, Your heart silently bemoans Having seen those warning signs As you entered a dreadful zone. Yet, you pretend to be happy Refusing to hear the pensive vibes Emanating from forlorn sound Echoed by your strife-ridden mind, And while you wear a smiley mask Denying anguish resides in you, Ebullience has already escaped From your saddened landscape. Let the loved ones see your pain In your frame sullenly flawed For they've already heard The cry of your pseudo facade. Hope cannot find its way When you keep hiding despair, Until you admit you've been lost Don't expect to find your path. January 14, 2018

Hi Vijay, I am forever hiding my true feelings from people. All I am doing is masking all my pain and as you say, what hope can be found when doing this. Liams words say it better than I ever could my friend. This is another excellent write from your pen Vijay. Have a wonderful. Monday. Your friend always....Mike.

This poem touched my soul. Having just lost my 15 year old granddaughter, who suffered from depression, by suicide, if felt the meaning.

The first step towards knowledge, said Socrates,is to accept our ignorance in the same way, the first step towards finding our way is to accept we are lost! Fine analysis of the psychological makeup of a person my dear friend, Vijay! Great message!

Well written Vijay. It can be harmful to deny the truth, hide emotions, wear a smiley mask and you have shown a lot with this poem. :)
