Crossroads Ii

(Where Decisions are made) Oh! Give one a day when to climb and wander within a righteous mind, tend to a troubled world that makes complete a celestial recourse. An earth with all the nostalgia one can muster, reproduced from out of the holy book, coerced daily like some perpetual habit served up as vintage wine. To be reconciled With one’s inner self, the body here now at four lanes end from another time, reliving every monochrome imprint, brought to a life that dwells on repetition, yet reprehensively lessons unheeded. © Harry J Horsman 2021

Harry, a wonderful piece of poetry. Tough decisions always cross our path and we have to choose, not always right, but as long as we know we did our best. Luck I think is a word you do not need in this contest! You have nailed it my friend. Hugs and blessings, Jennifer.

Well you went in the right direction with this piece Harry. I suspect the final destination will be the winner’s circle. All the best in the contest Harry.

Nice one …esp like the wine line and the end as they tie in with my own unlearned lessons and bad habits! :)

Reads like a good contender to me. Way to go. Each day is filled with so many decisions that it wears me out but sometimes I feel rewarded at a decision I made for something that was very minor. I can say that I messed up on major decisions in my life at times but thank God He saw me through those and I made it to the other side. Thanks for your visit to my page. Sara

In a manner of speaking, we are always at a crossroad. It's a matter of choice.
