Crimson Garden

corduroy flowers
blooming from the soft grass
  yellow petals
showing their face to the sky
  pale fingers
plucking them from the ground
  cold hands
sheltering them from the wind
  bright smile
delivering them to open hands
  sapphire eyes
smiling towards my rigid stance
  crimson hearts
Singing loudly as gazes collide

I like the way you have thought this out ahead of time and figured out a completely different way to type it. It comes out as a completely new type of poem. The garden comes alive in this one, Evan. Lovely imagery.
