Creation
Created from a singular point this thing called life
Somehow from nothing all things came to be.
From its very creation this universe knew strife
And still it would not be there without eyes to see.
From the dust of stars dying are all of us made
When gravity came calling, to bring about the earth.
Without small imperfections no waves to wade
Missing the moons direction no single cells birth.
A plethora of particles, this thing called matter
From the heaviest and lightest the stars made them all
The air that we breathe and the pigments that we splatter.
All the while giving credence to Newtonians law.
So look to the heavens, to the earth, to your hand
And wonder from where all these atoms were grown
Could it be from an accident, from the times of the sand?
Or from the Creator, from His Consciousness thrown.
And remember this as you ponder this pebble
That there are places out there to us unknown
The simplest things in our life are incredible
But it is this from him that Creation was sewn
