Contemplative Sequence

I praise you God … I praise you God for all in which you live. I seek you Jesus … I seek you Jesus in the Gospel texts. I find you Christ … I find you Christ through all in whom you dwell, thankful that in me you also find a home. Lamenting how mankind has messed up life I feel remorse ... I feel remorse for I've committed wrong: and where your Spirit lives you bear the hurt. Show us mercy … Show me mercy so I may sense your grace. Though my will is weak, your narrow Way I seek, to show your love as I attend to need. Come Holy Spirit … Come Holy Spirit be my strength and guide. Inspire me … Inspire us with your love, your joy, your peace, to contemplate... to contemplate the wonders you create. God eternal, when at last I'm laid to rest, rapt within the three-in-one may I be blessed.
