Concert In Central Park 1200th Poem
New York welcomed back its favorite sons.
Paul and Arthur sang all their number ones.
Over a million people were happy as a lark
at that outdoor concert in Central Park.
There was plenty of traffic in Manhattan that day.
This duo’s fans were making their way
on foot, by bus, and the subway.
When the sun went down, and the stars came out,
there was magic in the air without a doubt.
We were so happy to see the reuniting of this pair.
They sang some wonderful songs in the night air.
