Compassionate God
My compassionate* God, so love-prodding
Your grace always sending
Even at times, I appear arrogant and unyielding…
You teach me humility’s virtue, indeed rewarding
Exemplified by Your Son, Christ Who died on the cross bleeding
For my redemption, He bore earthly condescending…
Thank You for Your mercy constantly attending!
Psalm 86:15 O Lord, Thou art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth.
