Comet Girl

with a winding gold-dust trail of love still tailing her around since we last met, she has come back to me just like a comet; with a simile of a smile glowing within, her cerise lips stretching, soft and slow, she lets her bubbling gladness show; with rows of pearly teeth, pinkish gums, a youthful face, exuberant, vivid, she's just playful, confident and fervid; with such naively open, inner goodness touching, warming the good in others, she shows the core of what really matters; and just as before, she grins her goodbye, laughing eyes, a twinge of grateful regret, in a blink, she's gone again, my comet!
