Chasing Cardinals
Chasing Cardinals
We could see cute cat chasing a Cardinal
Like they usually do and always will
Trying to catch Cardinals with their claws
With razor sharp edges just like saws.
Cat kept running and thrashing around
While Cardinal did not make a single sound
For his life was fearful and also afraid
As he hid there sitting in the dark shade.
Cat came back to attack Cardinal again
When all the wild excitement did begin
Could hear cardinal and all of his cries
When cat decided to try and terrorize.
After Cardinal had quite a restless day
He finally just up and then flew away
Leaving cat all bewildered and dazed
At Cardinal's great ability was amazed.
Up whole situation cat started to size
And of course in the end would realize
Cardinal was asleep and hidden in his bed
Cat chose to chase rowdy rat instead.
