Catching Time In a Bubble
It's a joyfully hot day in the San Joaaquin Valley this day.
Grabbing my jar of bubble mix, onto the deepest green
rug covered deck,
Wiith them in hand, I ran.
Like a delighted child~the swing rocking me perfectly.
Wondering
Wondering~
Can I catch time in a glorious bubble?
Will it remain forever, rainbow hued?
Sparkling like the space shuttle?
Bubble
Bubble~
Remain forever with me this sunny day!
Alas, a fragrant wind, gentle as love's first kiss,
Took away today's time in a bubble.
Forlorn
Forlorn~
Poems are not bubbles that blow away.
Your create them, with glee, publish them,
And on the Poetry Soup site, they do forever stay!
Hooray
Hooray~
